On the slow jam side of things, “There Goes My Baby” definitely shines. While the lyrics come off as a little creepy (“You know your daddy’s home/It’s time to play”), the song has a good vibe that is easy to rock to. Usher’s voice is good on this song, and the beat by The Runners is hard to ignore. Official “first single” “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” doesn’t necessarily shine, but is good overall. Mixed in with these nothing-special, ignore-them songs are a few good ones. Songs like “Okay,” “Monstar” and “So Many Girls” fill up the album, but don’t offer anything special. There are some good songs and some bad ones, but most of them are just there. Usher is not living up to his name or previous success with this album.
